Press Release

Anna University has issued Notification No.001/RC/UCE&RC/2023 dated 24.11.2023 and 25.11.2023 invited applications for 232 vacancies to the post of Assistant Professor, Assistant Librarian and Assistant Director (Physical Education) in various discipline for the University Colleges of Engineering and Regional Campuses of Anna University. The Computer Based Test (Examination) is scheduled to be held on 05.04.2025 and 06.04.2025 respectively.

The following are the details of Part-I and Part-II of CBT (Examination) to be conducted: -

PART - I Tamil Language Test

30 Questions for 50 Marks

Minimum qualifying marks

40%

The candidates should secure minimum qualifying marks of 40% in Part-I (Tamil Language Test)

PART-II Subject-wise Test

180 Minutes

No. of questions

120 Questions for 60 Marks

Minimum qualifying marks

OC-40%

Other than OC - 35%

Compulsory Tamil Language Eligibility Test:

The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is a qualifying test only and it will be conducted as Multiple-Choice Question consisting of 30 questions for 50 marks and the duration of examination will be 30 minutes as Part-l. This mark will not be considered for ranking.

(i) The syllabus for Tamil Compulsory Paper (Part-I) is of 10th Standard. The syllabus can be downloaded from Teachers Recruitment Board's Official website (https://www.trb.tn.gov.in)

(ii) Candidates should score a minimum of 40% of total marks (50) in Part 1 examination for the evaluation of subjects (Part-II).
