As per the Notification No. 01/2026 dated 13.02.2026 and Addendum No. 01A/2026 and 01B/2026, the Teachers Recruitment Board conducted OMR based Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) for Working Teachers in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on 04.07.2026 for Paper – I and on 05.07.2026 for Paper – II. The Tentative Answer Key along with the Objection Tracker was published on 15.07.2026. All representations/objections received within the stipulated time were duly examined and considered by the Subject Experts. The Final Answer Key was finalised by a Team of subject experts. The decision of the Subject Experts in respect of the Final Answer Key shall be final.
Based on the Final Answer Key, the candidates OMR sheets have been evaluated and marks have been awarded. The marks obtained by all candidates who appeared for the TNTET 2026 examinations are now published along with the Final Answer Key for the Master Question Paper (Questions 1 to 150).
For Tamil Nadu candidates, the candidates may log in to their respective dashboards to view the final key, marks and qualifying status. The result status is indicated as “Qualified” (Pass) or “Not Qualified” (Fail). The qualified candidates may download their Teacher Eligibility Certificate after 5 days from their respective dashboards.
For Puducherry candidates, as per the letter D.O.No:M-17076(76)/33/2026-Academic Wing-JD/DSE dated 11.05.2026, issued by the Secretary to the Puducherry School Education Department, only the marks and final key are published. The Puducherry candidates may log in to their respective dashboards to view the final key and marks. For the qualified candidates the Teacher Eligibility Certificate will be issued by the Government of Puducherry School Education Department as per the above D.O. letter dated 11.05.2026.
Utmost care has been taken in preparing the result and in publishing it. Teachers Recruitment Board reserves the right to correct any errors that may have crept in.
